Day 1: Zagreb, Croatia
Arrival in Zagreb. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Zagreb.
Day 2: Zagreb – Plitvice (140 km)
Breakfast. Sightseeing of Zagreb, including the Upper Town, the historical center of the city, St. Mark’s Church with its famous multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre, and the University. After the city tour, we head towards the Plitvice Lakes. The Plitvice Lakes complex was registered on UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage in 1979. Thickly wooded mountains embrace sixteen smaller and larger crystal turquoise lakes, interconnected by foaming cascades and deep falls. Sightseeing of the National Park. Dinner and overnight stay in Plitvice.
Day 3: Plitvice – Trilj – Dubrovnik (450 km)
Breakfast. Drive via Sinj (with a short break) towards Trilj. After another short rest in Trilj, we continue our drive along the Adriatic coast towards Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful stone cities in the world. This city-monument has been registered on UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Dubrovnik.
Day 4: Dubrovnik
After breakfast, a guided tour of Dubrovnik, including visits to the Franciscan Monastery and the Rector’s Palace. This is followed by a panoramic bus drive above the city with a breathtaking view of Dubrovnik and the surrounding islands. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Dubrovnik.
Day 5: Dubrovnik – Split (230 km)
Morning departure for Split. Upon arrival in Split, a guided city tour of Diocletian’s Palace, which is under UNESCO’s protection, including its cellars, the Cathedral of St. Domnius, and the Peristyle. The rest of the day is free for shopping or enjoying coffee at one of the many cafés in Split. Dinner and overnight stay in Split.
Day 6: Split – Trogir – Zadar (160 km)
Breakfast and departure for Trogir, a picturesque medieval stone town under the protection of UNESCO, known for its fascinating Romanesque cathedral, churches, and beautiful palaces. Short sightseeing tour. Then, continue to Zadar with a short stop in Šibenik on the way. Dinner and overnight stay in Zadar.
Day 7: Zadar – Zagreb (280 km)
Breakfast. City tour of Zadar, including the Cathedral of St. Anastasia, considered to be the most impressive basilica in Dalmatia, the Church of Saint Donat, and the ruins of the Roman Forum. The rest of the day is free until departure for Zagreb. Dinner and overnight stay in Zagreb.
Day 8: Zagreb
Breakfast. Free time until transfer to Zagreb airport for your flight home.
